Dartmoor is one of my favourite places in Devon, in areas it's like being in another world. One of the best times to visit is in the spring when the sheep, cattle and ponies all have young and the buzzards are in the skies hunting to feed their chicks. The moors can be dark bleak and moody or bright full of life and exciting, and pretty much everything in-between. Thanks to it's own weather system it's always a surprise as to what you'll find.
