If you
ever visit Devon then the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth on the North Devon
coast are recommended for your itinerary. The coastal village of Lynmouth is
the start of a very picturesque walk along the river to a fishing lodge which is run by
the National Trust where you can partake in refreshments. |

Lynton is home to the
Valley of the Rocks a great place for cliffside walks, rock climbing for all
the family and a number of wild goats |

Another walk that
we enjoy is at Fingle bridge which is another riverside walk along a valley
with steep cliffs on either side. There are a couple of small bluebell
woods which are beautiful when they are in flower. Again there is an old fishing lodge
which has a bar and restaurant. |
