We live in Pinhoe, a village on the outskirts of Exeter (Devon). Our house is one of 8 in a terrace built in the 1990's which back on to a clay pit which is still used to produce local bricks. We have no neighbours at the rear of our property apart from an abundance of wildlife, and we have wonderful views from the front bedroom of green fields and the Exe Estuary.

The terrace is well designed to make the most of the existing space and the houses are well built, we very rarely hear our neighbours, all of whom are pretty much ideal, everyone is friendly and do their best to keep the terrace looking neat and tidy.
